The first Nuclear engineering university in Cambodia was established for educating student to understand and practice the process of producing electricity by transforming from nuclear reaction.
BATTAMBANG University is one of universities that was established recently by donation budget about 6 millions dollar and it was opened to use under the presidency of Prime Minister Hun Sen in December 9, 2010, it is noticeable that beside the same majors in each universities, Nuclear engineering is a new major that has no university has this field yet.
Prime Minister Hun Sen said that the difference among universities in Cambodia is that BATTAMBANG University has Nuclear engineering and it respond to the four strategies of second stage.
